Rang Gaeilge/ Irish Class

The Library hosts a revision class in spoken Irish under the auspices of the Southern Regional College.

An Irish conversation group meets every Wednesday 11.00 am -1.00 pm

If you have studied the language previously but are a little rusty this is the chance to brush up your skills. There are no entry requirements except a willingness to try out the little Irish you know and add to it through practice. All welcome.

Local and Family History classes

From the Spring of 2008 COFLA will be beginning a series of Local and Family history classes for the beginner. These classes will aim to provide basic information and encouragement to those seeking to explore their own local and family history. Anyone interested in attending should contact the Education Officer at the Library.
