Clár 2009 2nd Gaelic games programmes collectors' fair: Saturday 30 May 2009 sees the Cardinal Ó Fiaich Library host its second annual Gaelic games programmes and mamorabilia fair. last year's events was attened by collectors from fourteen different counties across Ireland and this month's event already promises to be bigger and better.Read more
President McAleese visits the Ó Fiaich Library: Details have just been announce of a major conference to be held in the Ó Fiaich Library on 13-14 March 2009 exploring the history of Gaelic games. The event is part of the library's Heritage Lottery Funded Education and outreach programme and is being organised in partnership the Ulster Council of the GAA.Read more

Gaelic Games in Ulster: During 2008 the Ó Fiaich Library & Archive began an extensive survey of the history of Gaelic games in Ulster. In the first part of this project we will be collecting information, memorabilia, memories and other historical material relating to the origins and growth of Gaelic games over the last 125 years.Read more
COFLA Education and Outreach Project: The Cardinal Ó Fiaich Memorial Library & Archives is currently engaged in a major Education and Outreach initiative supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Heritage Lottery Fund grant as enabled the library and Archive to employ two addition staff for in support of the project ad to put in place a programme of activities and events over a three year period. The programme which will run until the Autumn of 2009 has two key themes and will be delivery both within the Library and Archive and at other venues.Read more
